✅ Acceptance of terms
By using Bytly — whether as a guest or a registered account — you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. Bytly is operated by NIPSO Tech Solutions (India); for questions, contact [email protected].
🔗 The service
Bytly lets you shorten long URLs into short links, optionally with a custom alias or custom domain, track clicks and analytics, manage links from a dashboard, use a public REST API with API keys, and (for registered users) read or publish blog posts subject to admin moderation.
👤 Accounts & guest usage
You can shorten links without an account, but unauthenticated (guest) link creation is rate-limited per network/IP to prevent abuse. Creating an account gets you a persistent link history, analytics, custom aliases, API access and (on paid plans) custom domains and higher limits.
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
🚫 Acceptable use
You agree not to use Bytly to shorten or distribute links to content that is illegal, phishing, malware/virus-laden, spam, or that infringes someone else's rights. We reserve the right to disable any short link, alias, custom domain, blog post, or account that violates this policy, without prior notice, and to block abusive traffic patterns.
🏷️ Custom aliases & domains
Custom aliases must follow the format rules shown at creation time and can't use reserved words. Aliases and custom domains are allocated first-come, first-served and remain tied to your account; we may reclaim an alias or domain slot that violates these Terms or our alias-reservation rules.
💳 Subscriptions & payments
Bytly offers Free and paid (Pro/Business) plans with different feature limits, shown on our pricing page. Paid plans are billed per the cycle shown at checkout and processed through our payment gateway; Bytly does not store your card/bank details. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise at checkout. We may change plan pricing or features going forward, with existing subscribers notified of material changes.
🔌 API usage
API keys are personal to your account and scoped to the links/data you own. API requests are subject to the rate limits shown in your dashboard; we may throttle or revoke a key that's abused or shared publicly.
✍️ Blog content
If you submit a blog post, you confirm it's your own original work (or you have rights to publish it), it doesn't violate the Acceptable Use rules above, and you grant Bytly a licence to publish and display it on the site. Posts are reviewed by admins before going live and may be edited or removed.
📢 Advertising
Bytly is free to use partly because it's supported by advertising (Google AdSense, Adsterra, and Monetag). Ads are served by these third-party networks under their own policies — see our Privacy Policy for details.
⚖️ Disclaimer & limitation of liability
Bytly is provided "as is." We don't guarantee that short links will be available with zero downtime, or that the destination content of any link (created by any user) is safe or accurate — Bytly is not responsible for third-party content reached via a shortened link. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bytly and NIPSO Tech Solutions aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
⛔ Termination
You can stop using Bytly or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice in cases of serious or repeated abuse.
🇮🇳 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in India.
♻️ Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as Bytly evolves. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
